Gannon Tax & Bookkeeping is a fully paperless practice. All client meetings take place via Zoom, telephone, or in-person and all documents are shared electronically using a secure portal. Our process is set up to make tax time and all bookkeeping work as smooth and easy as possible. This includes e-signatures, personalized document lists and secure messaging, all of which can be accessed from your smartphone, tablet or computer.

About the Owner

 

Niya Gannon, Enrolled Agent, has worked in the tax and bookkeeping industry since 2011. She started as an intern at a local Santa Rosa firm after completing a two-year Bookkeeping Certificate program at Santa Rosa Junior College. She was quickly promoted to Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Analyst. Niya earned Enrolled Agent license in 2018 at the conclusion of two years of intensive study before passing the demanding three-part, 12-hour exam.

 

Niya opened her own business in 2020 and now specializes in small business tax returns and bookkeeping as well as individual federal and state tax returns.

 

A member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents, Niya has expertise in tax return preparation, tax planning, fiduciary accounting, bookkeeping and payroll. Her Enrolled Agent status authorizes her to represent clients before not only the IRS but also the tax departments of all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.

 

When not at work, Niya enjoys making jewelry, hiking, singing and spending time with friends and family.
